An Evening at Esslingen’s Premier Dinner en Blanc

We had such a wonderful evening at Esslingen’s first Diner en Blanc, hosted by the Esslingen Lion’s Club. It was a beautiful evening with great company, atmosphere, food, and live jazz. We even made some new friends. Let me tell you all about it! Diner en Blanc originated in Paris and cities do their own versions. You dress all in white and bring your own three course meal for an elegant picnic at a public space in the city. Esslingen in Spring

We have been absolutely loving the recent spring weather. The sun is (sometimes) shining and there’s beautiful bursts of pink, bright yellow, and white popping up around us – I’ve been soaking up every minute. Our backyard is in bloom and it brings me so much joy! This is one good thing about moving to a new house in the winter – so much excitement as things start popping up around you. Happy 2025 to You

Hello and happy new year! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas break and are starting the new year refreshed. I certainly am! We had a jam-packed 2.5 weeks off, and in one week we moved houses, celebrating Christmas, celebrated twin birthdays, and the next morning headed to the alps to ski for a week. Vineyard Family Picnic

One of my favorite ways to get out of the house is to take a family picnic. This can be as simple as eating in your backyard, at your local park, or my personal favorite, in the vineyards! I’ve posted a bunch about how I absolutely adore the Untertürkheim vineyards, and how lucky we are that they are so close to us! She’s back 🙂 Hi friends, it’s been a long time, but I’m back in action and want to share our adventures with you again. Since I stopped posting about our travels, we moved to Charleston South Carolina, had a handful of kids, and moved back to Stuttgart when our twins were just four months old.
